I'm ready to sign some books!

This fall is bringing lots of book-signing events for me. The nice folks at Quarry Books just sent me to the Pacific Northwest Booksellers Association trade show in Tacoma to promote the Urban Sketching Handbook.

And this Saturday, Oct. 11, I'm excited to come to the University Book Store in Seattle to sign copies of my Seattle Times book. The event is a "launch party" and I'm told there may even be drinks and snacks! Here are more details and a map.

Later in the season, I'll be doing a few more signings for "Seattle Sketcher." Here are some confirmed locations and dates:

—Museum of History and Industry (Thursday, Nov. 6, 11 a.m.)
—Elliott Bay Book Company (Sunday, Nov. 9, 3 p.m. )

If you are in the area, I would love to see you at any of these events. (Bring your sketchbook, too!)

You can order "Seattle Sketcher" online through the Seattle Times' publishing partner, Pediment Publishing. Or purchase your copy locally from these retailers: Barnes & Noble, Bartell Drugs, Elliott Bay Book Company, MOHAI Gift Shop, Seattle Art Museum Gift Shop and the University Book Store.

  1. This will be another hit! Meantime I'm happy with the page of the Seattle Times newspaper that you autographed for me, I'll frame it! Enhorabuena!

  2. Does the Times run these ROP ads gratis? Just a Spokesman-Review designer guy here. If not they should!
