Can just one sketch tell a story?
I think it can, but several sketches can tell a more complete story! In this case, there's more to this tool library than the instruments resting on the shelves. To start, the people behind the project and the building that houses the library.
Do you keep the story you are trying to tell in mind when you are sketching? Do you try to show both the place and the people connected to it? Do you do close-up sketches to highlight specific aspects of the story?
I tried to do all that to tell readers the story of the NE Seattle Tool Library.
