We went to Uwajimaya on Saturday and I had to try one of Beard Papa's cream puffs. These delicious pastries are filled with vanilla cream and covered with dark chocolate —the chocolate is optional, but who wouldn't go for it? I should have sketched the pastry too but, before I knew it, I had already eaten it. You can see what the cream puffs look like on their website and also watch an interesting animated video about the history of this store that started in Osaka, Japan, in 1999.
