La Aguja del Espacio

I can't get enough of drawing the Space Needle —without a doubt Seattle's most recognizable structure. Every time I look at it, I feel like the top is going to lift off like a U.F.O. and fly into space. I wonder if that's what they were thinking when they named it "space needle" back when it opened in 1962. I certainly love its shape and futuristic look. (I did the sketch from Westlake Avenue and Thomas St. Sorry, the view is not as picturesque as the ones you get in Grey's Anatomy!)
