Olympic Sculpture Park

Saturday morning we went to the Olympic Sculpture Park. What a sketching paradise, if only I had all the time in the world to sit and draw instead of chasing my children. They were in awe of the float planes flying over us, the ferries sailing on the Sound and even a train on the tracks that cross under the park. But I still got to put pen to paper and do a couple of drawings while Michelle looked after them. Above is Wake, by Richard Serra, and below, Eagle, by Alexander Calder. You can learn more about this wonderful Seattle landmark here at the Seattle Art Museum website.
